20mo DD - should I stop going in whenever she cries?

She is generally good at sleeping but still wakes occasionally and I pretty much always go in, keeping lights off and no chat etc. Quick cuddle is usually enough and then she goes back off.

She is now crying a few times during her winding down time before sleep - that is, after her bottle, I leave her and she spends about an hour chatting and singing. Then she falls asleep. But in the middle of this, she sometimes starts crying. When I go in she stops immediately, massive grin, Mama! like she's not seen me for days, and asks for cuddle and/or a bit of extra milk. Again, no chat, I tell her time to sleep and put her down pretty quickly.

Just wondering if she is getting old enough to leave for a bit and make her realise that she should just go to sleep. I am getting a bit bored of going in, we prob get 2 or 3 full nights sleep a week generally when she doesn't wake at all.
