Could I? Should I? Would you?

Daughter is 11 and a half weeks. Has a good bedtime routine and usually down between 7.30-8.30pm. Sleeps until 1.30 or 2.30am. Feeds. Sleeps for another hour / hour and 45 minutes. Might feed again. Very restless from then onwards and won't go back into moses basket. I don't mind her co-sleeping to get another few hours. My question is should I move her bedtime later in the hope that she will sleep longer through the night? I find it so hard to sleep earlier than about half past 11 so I only get a couple of hours and then the rest of the time is very broken. Or should I be glad that she goes down when she does? Would I be trying to move her bedtime back to 7.30 in a few months? What would you do?

This may not be much help but DS still has a very similar pattern at 6months. No moving of bedtime has made any difference. I have just resigned myself to the fact and now he always comes into the bed with me when he wakes at aroun 01H30.

He has seemed to settled down a little though and is slowly (very slowly) becoming less restless

I have a very similar routine with ds (12 weeks). He goes to bed around 8, sleeps till around 1 or 2 (sometimes later if i'm lucky) and will wake again around 5... I've found recently that putting him on his side after his 1am ish feed works a treat! I even got him to stay in his cot until 6.45 the other morning! i basically shove a soft toy behind his bum to keep him in place... He's in a grobag so i figure he can't get into too much trouble... Otherwise i usually end up bringing him into bed with us after he wakes around 5.
