when did you stop? Ds is 9mo and spends all or part of the night with us. He isn't crawling yet so it is easy to contain him.

Some people have told me that I need to stop soon or he will always want to sleep in with us.

Just wondered how long others did it for

My 8.5 month DS has recently started crawling so I have moved his bedside cot to the other side of our room and put the side up. He still feeds at least twice a night, so in many ways wish he was still 'in with us'. He was a bit unsettled at first and kept banging his head on the side of the cot where I 'used' to be. However after his night feeds he now whinges if I keep him in our bed, and soon settles if I put him back in the cot - the boy must like his personal space!

TBH it is only the crawling thing that made me move him away. There are many people that happily co-sleep for ages. I'd go with what you feel comfortable with, it certainly makes the night feeds easier.
