sorry if this doesn't make much sense but it's 4.30am! dd3 had decided that this time in the morning is great for playing. nothing i do makes her go back to sleep so i end up having to get up with her for an hour or so. then it takes me longer to get back to sleep and i have to wake her up for school run. any tips - she's 4.5 months (please no one suggest control crying)

I've no idea what you can do, but I really do sympathise. What about just cuddling on the settee (when she wants to sleep) and just drift off together? That way you have not woken yourself up too much by moving to the bedroom. Don't forget to set the alarm though!

she will only go to sleep with my boob in her mouth so if (as has been happening recently) she decides she doesn't want feeding there is little i can do. she will latch on but then immediately pull off taking my nipple with her and after 2 or 3 goes at that at 4 in the morning i'm not really in the mood to play! just feel like i'm dragging myself through the day at the mo... and taking it out on dd1&2

got a feeling she may be starting to get itchy gums, always gnawing at something, might buy some bonjela! thanks for getting back to me though
