Dd1 & 2 sharing a room for the 1st time tonight.....

Dd1 (nearly 3) and dd2 (14mo) are sharing a room for the first time tonight (dh and I finally get our room back - hooray!)..... but how do I get them both to sleep at night.

Normal routine is teeth, dd2 stories then put her in her cot - she will stand and shout for 30seconds then fall asleep.

Then it is dd1 stories - lights out and she faffs about for around half an hour before she eventually goes to sleep.

So - should I put them both in bed/cot, lights out and leave them to it - or put the baby in bed earlier - wait for her to fall asleep then put dd2 to bed?

I am sure I am getting worried about nothing - but just wondered how everyone else did it?
