Sudden waking

Hi all, first time poster long time er... Radio analogy ends...!
Our 5 1/2 month old has slept through since about 16 weeks but all of a sudden has started waking for a feed between 4.30 and 5.30.
Thought it might be weaning time and she's taken to solids like a pro but is still up in the night. Don't think it's teething as it seems too regular and can't think what else it might be.
Any help/advice much appreciated...

Totally normal - babies' sleeping habits can change all the time, often for no apparent reason.

It could be a growth spurt, or her brain could be working on developing a new skill, which messes with babies' sleep (see here for more info).

Is she drinking less milk now she's on solids? If she is, the solids could be replacing milk she needs and since milk is more calorific than solids, that might cause her to be more hungry at night.

Some babies do wake more at first when weaned as they're not used to the sensation of food passing through their digestive system.

If she's hungry when she wakes, then I'd feed her (milk, obviously). It will change soon enough. 'Sleeping through the night' is often something that comes & goes rather than something which always continues once babies achieve it.
