A feed late on, just before you sleep so it keeps baby going if you like.

According to the Baby Whisperer its when you feed your baby as they sleep without really waking them. I have fond memories of bfeeding DS like this.

I never knew about dream feeding when I had dd, I just did it as I realised if I gave her a feed at 6, put her to bed at 7 then wake her at 10 for a another feed she would sleep through till 9 which was absolute bliss

I've heard, like Trecletart, that it's a night feed where your baby doesn't wake properly. DS used to do this every now and then. He was only just awake enough to snaffle the milk and that's it. His eyes were still shut. It was luuuurvly.

and yes it appeared as though she was still asleep.
