Hi, I have been looking into buying DS2 (9months) a sheepskin as I am led to believe they help to keep cool in summer, warm in the winter when they are used for sleeping on and in they buggy.

Does anyone know anything about them? Are they any good? Where to buy?

DS sleeps in a gro bag does that make a difference?

Im off out now but will return!!

Thanks in advance

My 5 month old loves to have a roll around on the one at her aunty's house, she seems to love the texture and it is lovely and thick and bundgy! Mys sister bought hers at a jumble sale for a fiver, it washed up beautifully in the washing machine. Not sure about ones specifically for sleeping on though, so I will watching this post!

I bought a £25 sheepskin from Ikea for my newborn son to sleep on. Apparently they are good for neurological development. It did settle him down a lot once I started using it and he had one up until the age of about 3.

As long as you make sure that the baby/toddler doesn't overheat they're fine.

Thanks for your replies.
For those that are using one do you put baby directly on top or a sheet in between?
Would one be safe to use with a gro bag?
