How do I help DD to sleep easier? She's 5 years old.

Hi, I was a little unsure where to post this exactly so I've posted it here and in the parenting topic too.

My DD is 5yo and recently has started having nightmares about dying - usually family. I don't know what started it but I think it might be around Easter as I know they were studying Jesus dying on the cross...
I was also in hospital a short time after this too (nothing serious), thought she may associate hospitals and being poorly? I wasn't poorly - just a UTI caused by being pregnant - obviously dd didn't understand that tho.

She gets absolutely terrified and was even scared to tell us about them. The first I knew about it was when she came in to me when I was in the bath abut a month ago and she told me she was dreaming of Nannan dying. Then it was mummy and daddy dying . She was shaking and I felt so helpless - I don't know what to do to get past this. It's quite scary as sometimes she tells us she can see the dreams without being asleep.

She's scared to sleep on her own - we still put her to bed on her own and tell her to snuggle up to her 'Ribbon' (favourite bear) and we will come and giver her another kiss and cuddle a bit later. Up to now this hasn't made the slightest bit of difference.

Any/All advice extremely welcome!!
