How long can your 6mo stay awake for?

Mine does the 45min nap thing quite a lot (sometimes naps are 2.5hr epics though! It varies)

I was working on the premise that 1.5-2hr awake was about all he could do, but actually he does 3hrs before bedtime quite well. Nighttime sleep is good

But maybe if I kept him up longer he'd nap longer??

What awake times do people go by at this age?

Apparently many 6 month olds have a 2, then 3, then 4 hour space between naps: see here.

Thanks Angel, that's completely brilliant and just I suspected

Mine does 2-2.5 hours, but like yours can go 4 hours later in the day... However if that happens, he needs a catnap before bedtime otherwise he's really fussy!
