wide awake 3-5am. WHY?

My DS is 5 1/2 months old, on 2-3 mushy meals a day (and loving it), sleeps for up to 3 hours during the day, has a lovely bedtime routine and will sleep from 7-10, have a dream feed and go back to sleep.

But since having Bronchilitis has started waking 3-4 times a night for a feed, and now is wide awake from 3-5am happily chatting away? Anyone any ideas why and how I can get him to stop? Five hours of sleep a night is not doing me any good!!
