I swaddle my DD, four 1/2 months, BF her to sleep and then put her down asleep. I think I am treating her like a newborn, but she is actually very active and vigorous and gets herself out of the swaddle at least twice a night. I would really like to stop doing it but don't know how. She finds it very hard to sleep with her arms unrestrained - since she's stopped wearing her snowsuit she can hardly even sleep in the pushchair! How can I move forward with our sleep routine? Once she's out of the swaddle at night she lies there playing with her hands...
Any tips would be very gratefully received. I would really like to move to a proper bedtime routine that isn't just me feeding and swaddling her, and maybe even to a situation where someone else can put her down...
