11mth baby poor sleeper-getting worse

My DS 1yr on wed is getting worse re sleeps, fighting sleep in day -ie-Now he's in chair with dummy (keeps throwing) and musical teddy and screaming at me-been like this 20mins, if i pick him up he will prob drop staight away but then is difficult to put down, will sleep in sling but cant put down, screams in car, and too nosey in pram!
At night he feeds/holds to sleep then v slowly i transfer but he will wake antwhere between 1-5 times, each time needing to be picked up, and then struggling to go back down.

When wakes i try to go in quick and just replace dummy, sometimes works others doesn't, if i leave him he screams and screams and screams, thens sobs and if does go off wakes himself up by sobbing. Longest he's screamed is an hour and that was cos i couldn't see to him as in car, he just doesnt give up.

I hate seeing him like this but would love him self settle and sleep longer day and night (night more)

He has slept through and sometimes just wakes once but at min its terrible and just getting worse.

I do bring him in my bed but he doesn't settle that well there..

Any ideas????

I'm afraid I don't have answers but I do sympathise, I think we're going through a similar thing with our 11mo old.

My 10m old is a nightmare sleeper and CC just will not work with her so I am reading and trying to implement the No Cry Sleep Solution, I think the ideas are good and I am having some progress though slow. Worth a read.
