babbling in sleep

My 6 month old DS has frequent times in the night where he will appear to be asleep (eyes closed, floppy etc) but makes really loud noises, quite tuneful at times. He doesn't appear distressed in any way by it. IT doesn't wake him up but it is waking the rest of the family and it has been happening for several weeks now. He still wakes in the night for a feed so I can't just use earplugs.
Anyone come across this before or have any ideas to help?
Thanks

Sorry to be dense but what prob are u asking for help with? If he's just talking in his sleep put him in his own room

Just re read your op. Why not just put him in his own room and use a monitor?

Put him in his own room, with a monitor if you think you may not hear him crying. Get the sort of monitor where you can set the sensitivity of the baby end, that way the general noisyness won't be transmitted to disturb you, but crying is louder so will be transmitted.

Dd was like this.
