anyone help am a newby and my little boy still wakes at least twice to feed at night, the 6mth and hubby is wilding a sleeping through axe to start next week and i'm petrified hate to hear bab cry for ages

I really do wonder what percentage of babies actually do sleep through at six months. Neither of my DC have did. Unfortunately it's well within the 'normal' range of behavior.

2 night feeds (although exhausting) is normal too, I'm afraid.

DS is 10 months and he may have slept through once. He usually wakes 2 - 4 times between 7pm and 7am, sometimes a lot more. DD (2 1/4) still regularly wakes at night. Sometimes several times...

There's a support thread somewhere, I'll see if I can find it for you.

I agree with the others... It's really not that unusual to be waking a couple of times at 6mo. Also not a good time to begin any cc-ing as starting on solids will make their tummy feel different and/or uncomfy so they may initially wake more. Hopefully the feeling of fullness will eventually help your dc sleep through. HTH
