Ok have a 13 week old. He is a gina baby with his routine (losely) and all is fine with that and he hasnt been fed through the night for about 4 weeks. He doesnt sleep through though.

He wakes between 4 and 5 am and i use a dummy to settle him back down. he cant suck it through (have tried both types) so spend the rest of the night with me holding the dummy in his mouth!

I dont really like dummys and this was the only time he had it but know I have to settle him with a dummy at every nap time.

Help help help
Thanks

Try feeding him in the night? Most 13 week olds will need that food. DS (12 weeks) needs at least 2 night feeds, sometimes 3.

Feeding and getting him to sleep again will allow you to get lots more sleep than putting in a dummy and holding it for the rest of the night!

(My DS will rarely hold a dummy in either).

I guess I feel like i would be going backwards as it has been a while since i fed him in the night.

He normally does drift off with the dummy in his mouth and is then awake dead on 7 for his morning feed.

What to do for the best just dont know! Thanks for the advice
