Not used it - we use either Olbas which is ok from (I think) 2 months or Karvol plug-in.

Oh, sorry - I didn't have the bottle in front of me. Have you tried taking him into a steamy room? Run the bath with very hot water and keep the door closed so it gets steamy. (Possibly even put a drop of olbas in the water, I can't see that a drop or two in the whole bathroom air would be too strong for a little one). Sit and play in there for 20 mins or so. Repeat every so often.

One thing to be careful of though is that you will need to change his clothes after each steam as he will get damp and chilly when leaving the bathroom - or strip him to his nappy and wrap in a towel.

Saline nasal drops help to clear the congestion - GP suggested it for my DS when he was 2-3 weeks old and seemed to help. Ask your pharmacist for this.

get a snot sucker (nasal aspirator)

also saline drops are excellent as a PP has said

Finding hot shower room has really helped. Saline seemed to make him sick. Propped up bed as well. Can't say I have noticed the vapour really helping but does not seem to do any harm.
