My little boy wont go down in his own cot (3 nights now) and if i do get him down it lasts an hour..

I think he's teething so been giving pain relief.
What do you do? Ive been bringing in with me and we all get some sleep but are up V early!

None of my friends let their little ones in bed with them...

He has been asleep an hour in his pram (phil and ted's) Is this an option at night?

Im hoping its just a phase..

With both of mine and teething, I used bonjela teething gel as it seemed far better than Dentinox. They didn't like Anbesol but lots of mums swear by that. The Teetha sachets with chamomile in are very calming and I use those if they have got particularly distressed, work like magic.

I apply bonjela before each nap and wait 10 minutes for it to really begin working, as then they are easier to settle for naps when they're gums aren't hurting. As mine are impossible to settle at bedtime if overtired from bad sleep in the day.

If they woke in the night I would try bonjela first to see if they'd settle, usually did work tbh, if they were really worked up I would consider a feed if desperate to soothe them back to a drowsy state and lie down.

I've certainly found with mine that as the teething has gone on, they've got more used to it and easier to sleep at night despite it.

Its OK to use some calpol IMO if they're really struggling. Just one good nights sleep for them may help them get back on track again and cope better with it all.

I personally tried not to bring mine in bed with me, as I didn't want them to get into habits etc. BUT if you and your hubby are happy with this arrangement, don't worry about whatever friends do IMO.
