PUPD thrashing baby.

DD2 is 7 months and getting her to nap is a nightmare. Doing PUPD but she arches her back and pushes away and thrashes (and cries hard). When I put her down she cries more.If I have a hand on her she mostly pushes it off.She cries much worse if I move away. TBW book says to put down if they are fighting you but when to pick up again?? Confused..!

Actually just found this link which explains it to my tired brain a bit better. Should be walking away from cot a bit. . . .
