DS-2wks has been sleepingwell, but fed most oflast night. Was 2wks yesterday. Am I right that they have a growth spurt at this time? Oh and my boobs have just had anothergrowth spurt as well.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

TBH I think much of the first 6 weeks is a growth spurt on and off, that's why no one ever gets anything done. Every few days they will have a mega feed session and your supply will up.
Did you get any sleep? Those first weeks are hard

Half an hour here and there and then told by dh to not be stressy, as it was making him stressy.

Your DH is right, you are just going to have to snatch naps here and there as you can for a bit, it doesn't last that long though, honest.

Although that doesn't help when it is 3 am and you have only had 10 minutes. Are you co sleeping? I found that I had to, at least for the first few weeks as even if I was awake the fact that i was lying down made it much easier to bear.

mummynumnum · 20/02/2010 20:53

Think will co sleep. Did not do it with dd for long time but 2nd time around with a three year old think i will go for it although fretting about the safety and set up of the bed.

Kick your DH out for the night if he doesn;t mind too much, I always had the spare room set up ready when DD@s were small so I could kick him out, move over in the bed and have the baby in the middle of the bed, felt a bit more secure, plus no snoring

mummynumnum · 20/02/2010 22:54

Yeah I do have a nice spare bed for dh!

Oh that's good, do you feel a bit more sane?

mummynumnum · 21/02/2010 16:47

Yes with dd I said if I got 4 hours in a row I felt sane! So almost there-saying that he has slept all day today?
