Lambskin crib liner

2 week old dd currently sleeps on a fleece blanket as she gets cold at night.

I have been looking at lambskin liners and found this one

Does anyone use one for their lo to sleep on? I only use one blanket on dd now, will that be reduced to just a sheet with a lambskin? Thanks.

My DD has slept on a lambskin since birth and loves it. We don't use a sheet - she lays straight on it and it helps her sleep. Had to buy another one though cos we have to wash it quite often and takes ages to dry. She has a sleeping bag and fleecy blanket on top as her room is cold.

We have used one for our DD since birth. She is nearly 8 months old and loves it. At first it fitted her moses basket and then we transferred it to her cot, and she hardly noticed the transition. We also take it when travelling as she knows it is hers. I am now deliberating buying a larger one, as the one we got is a bit small for a cot, and now she travels round the cot, she ends up off it.

I wrapped a muslin where her head would go to make cleaning spit up etc easier to clean. Honestly though, I'm not sure how necessary this was. I've never had to wash it, and you only need to brush it and air it to clean it under normal circumstances.

Our DD sleeps in a sleeping bag on top of the fleece. I now need to buy new sleeping bags, and will get merino wool ones, as her room is cold.
