i am reading contented baby and was going to start the routines from monday with my 12wk old ds. i have heard a lot of critisim but it seems to make sense - am i missing something?
also my ds cat naps so how can i stop him for the new routine?

Your DS hasn't read the book. Don't be surprised if he doesn't follow the pattern, especially if he's a catnapper.

Not read GF either but, from the bits I've picked up on here, I guess she makes some sense because babies naturally slip into some sort of routine anyway. We take our cues from them and nudge it along a bit.

he slept through and then started waking himself up at 4 i know he doesn't need feeding and just from today he wont sleep! need to deal with it. not asleep yet - usually down after 7pm feed..

he is happy to have just a dummy or a cuddle. going to order a blackout blind for his room maybe it the light? he slept till 9 so struggled to get him asleep.
