OK in the larger scheme of things I know this isn't too bad, but DD's previously good sleep routine has gone to pot. I'm wondering whether this is because she's got into a habit of waking quite late, around 8/8.30 and therefore she isn't ready for bed when we want her to go - at around 7. The other problem is that her daytime naps (never very long) are erratic/non-existent. She's mobile and very into everything and I think she probably thinks that sleeping is boring.
Do any of you think that it would help if we got her up earlier? Or do we really need to work on her naps? She was a pretty rubbish sleeper at the beginning, and gradually got better - this isn't awful I know, but she is more tired than she should be and seems to find it hard to go to sleep; quite frequently lately she's been waking up after a sleep cycle (45mins) and having to be got up and settled back again.
want my evenings back!
