my 10 month old isn't a happy napper at the moment- she sleeps 12 hours at night but she was having 1 hr in the morning and one in the afternoon but has been doing a lot of crying and standing up instead of sleeping recently.
is it time to go from 2 sleeps to 1?

Sometimes once teeth start to come with both my LO's I found it more effective to give teething gel just as putting down for a nap. Worked a treat.

It may also be they're coming down with something and feeling rotten.

Routines do need adjusting from time to time, my little man is 12 months but since 9 months has woken at 7am, had a nap at 10.30am and another at 2 or 3pm ish and then bed at 7pm. Providing I wake him at 7am all goes swimmingly. He not ready to move to one nap at lunchtime.

But at the end of the day watch your LO and put to bed once they start yawning perhaps, just to be sure they're tired? Teeting gel maybe worth a try though x

thanks- she had one sleep yesterday and was grumpy all day then woke up early (always a sure sign with her of not enough sleep in the day)- is currently sleeping like a baby!
