gina ford ... when did u start ?

DD2 is now 10 days old and I am going to put her on the same routine as DD1 which is GF based. DD1 started at 2 mths , when I first had the guts to try it out.

When did you, if you did, start ? Her book says 1 week, but that is ridiculous as they sleep for much longer than her suggested times.

3 months & didn't do it strictly (no black out blinds etc) - just read the book & took what i wanted from it. Seemed a bit too one size fits all for the younger baby i thought.

my dd had terrible colic and when I read GF's claim to be able to get rid of it I decided to give it a go - at 8 weeks - It worked with structuring the sleeping - but not sure I would have done it any younger. I think it can put pressure on you to follow it - best to take what you can from it I think and don't get too hung up on it
