DS (20mo) is not having a good atm with 4 teeth coming through and having a cough and a cold.
He's waking every 5-15 mins during the night either wanting a drink, gums sorting or dummy or rolling and throwing himself about in pain. He is also living off (if we're lucky) a piece of toast a day and maybe a nibble of cheese. The fluid is going in (juice) and when it comes to his milk I end up giving it him via syringe as he is having an oz or 2 then throwing the bottle. Sometimes he ends up puking it all up. Nice.
I'm using Vicks on him, Ibruprofen at night and Anbesol on his teeth but it doesn't seem to be lasting too long and he wont let me near his mouth with anything else like a cold flannel etc
Any ideas how I can get him to eat more and maybe sleep a bit better? I think once he has had a good nights sleep he might start to pick up.
I can't wait til he is well again so he gets back into his usual sleep/eat pattern!
