DS (20mo) is not having a good atm with 4 teeth coming through and having a cough and a cold.

He's waking every 5-15 mins during the night either wanting a drink, gums sorting or dummy. He is also living off (if we're lucky) a piece of toast a day and maybe a nibble of cheese. The fluid is going in but its not really milk as I end up giving it him via syringe as he is having an oz or 2 then throwing the bottle. Sometimes he ends up puking it all up. Nice.

I'm using Vicks on him, Ibruprofen at night and Anbesol on his teeth but it doesn't seem to be lasting too long.

Any ideas how I can get him to eat more and maybe sleep a bit better?

I can't wait til he is well again so he gets back into his usual sleep/eat pattern!

Awwww bless. My DD always goes off her food when ill. I just try to cook things she absolutely loves and even if she only eats a tenny weeny bit, to not worry or nag her to eat more, as all it does is get her stressed and me

It's a shame Medised is now over 6's only, as that was always my final solution when Isabella did this. The law has changed though in the last 18 months twice, first it went to age 2 and now 6 years . I understand why but it really helped when they were sick with a bunged up nose and the old Karvol or vapour rub weren't enough.

You're doing everything right though, it WILL get better x
