Tell me nice stories about your DC sleeping through

I have a DD who does not sleep well. Naps have always been bad. Nights, she was great to 4 months and then went really downhill. Now 8 1/2 months.

I am feeling really down today, so I'd love to hear some nice stories about people who were in the same boat and for whom things improved within a reasonable period.

Anyone out there who had a nightmare sleeper at 8 months, but who was good by, say, 12 or 14 months (preferably without CC)? I feel as if, if I can think of a light at the end of the tunnel, it will help me.

I don't even need sleeping through, just up once, easily resettled and sleeping to 6:30 or so would do me. I'm not greedy .

Oh yes, just not at predictable times or for predictable periods. You normally get 2-3 naps out of her in a day, but often only for half an hour. Once she stirs, nothing will put her back to sleep.

When did your DD1 sleep through? Is DD2's sleep related to her health issues (if you don't mind me asking. Am trying to convince myself DD will not still be waking at 6)?

DD was a terrible sleeper as a baby, started sleeping through at about 12mo. Now sleeps approx 8.30-7.30.

DS is 12mo and still rubbish, up umpteen times a night, feeding crying etc but has been a bit unwell for 4-5 weeks and still waiting for first teeth, so I'm hoping he will improve

He slept through from 11 weeks to 16 weeks then never did it again...grrr
