Hoping for a bit of advise ?
DD was 12 weeks yesterday and EBF, for past three weeks she has been going through the night approx 11 hours. I usually start bedtime routine at 8pm which takes approx 50 minutes. We go to the nursery dim the lights put on lullabies, nappy change, into be cloths then approx 40 minute feed, she usually drops offs while feeding but wakes when I place her in her cot, I shush and pat and she then sticks het thumb in her mouth I leave the room. 8 times out of 10 she will go straight to sleep, the other two times she will cry and little but it is that whinging half hearted cry where she is so knackered and she has usually dopped off after 5 minutes.
The last two night however have been a nightmare and I am not sure if she is going through a growth spurt of if she is just sensing things have been different in the house. Yesterday she had three naps insteed of the usual two and I had to wake her at 6pm, I then did the usual bedtime routine and left the house around 9pm for company do. Apparantly she woke 5 minutes after I left and screamed the house down, so partner warmed 4oz ebm and gave her a bottle (she will only take a bottle if I am not in the house), even after that she screamed until 11pm, when she was so exhausted she feel asleep.
Today was usual day apart from we went out in the car so again naps got confussed and she slept until 4.30pm on the journey home approx 40 minutes. There was no way I could let her sleep again when we got home, so we had a little play and she got grizzly around 6pm, so I fed her downstairs, at 7pm she was so tierd I took her up early and fed again and she had been almost constantly fed since then, Everytime I leave the room she sleeps for 5-10 minutes then screams the house down again and the only thing that will calm her is another feed...HELP ! Not sure if she is having a growth spurt or if she can sense thing have been different over past two days with naps getting mixed upme going out last night and DP going out this evening ! Any Ideas ?
Thanks and apologies for long post.
