Dummy issues!

DD2 13 months old. She uses a dummy, DD1 never had one and was sleeping through as soon as I stopped breast feeding at 12 months.
So I am worrid that DD2 will never sleep through (sure she will do one day!)
I think DD2 keeps waking up as her dummy falls out and sometimes she puts it back in her self and most times I do....She has a few in the cot with her...
Has anyone had experience with dummies and what age do they settle down and pop the dummy in by themselves... for good?

DD didnt ever seem to find her dummy by herself, and id be rooting round under her cot 3am in the morning to find them. UNTIL we found the sleepytot on the internet. Which is a kind of soft toy with velcro paws you can attach the dummies to, so its easier for them to find and pop back in their mouth. Its on www.sleepytot.com. Since we've used this, we havent had to get up for the dummy once. Get one and you wont look back. Piece of advice, only give the dummy while its on the sleepytot or they seem to get confused and look for a stray one around the cot.

I had a similar problem but solved it by going to mothercare and buying one of their dummy strings which attaches to the dummy and whatever they are wearing.
