Ok, after trying it last night we had a 4 hour stretch and a 3 hour stretch of sleep from my 12 week old- hurrah! Much better than the hourly waking. We did co-sleep when he was first born as he wouldn't do anythign else.

However although I have brought him into bed with me before I want to do it properly rather than accidently, iyswim.

SO...

Pillows- I can't sleep without one, I have tried. SO I thought about putting mine under the bed sheet- would that be ok?

I sleep with quilt wrapped round me like a sleeping bag.

I thought about making him a little nest out of rolled up towels, under the sheet again stop him rolling.

And finally can I have some reassurance that if I do this now, he won't still me sleeping with me when he is 10!!

Try a Snugglenest: www.babycurls.co.uk/baby-products/sleeping-aid-products-/ - my dd was too big for them by the time I heard about them, but a friend has one for her lo and says that it's brilliant. (Might be worth looking around for prices)
