Mobiles help sleep? Advice please

I'm starting to try and get DD 10 weeks into her cot from moses basket and would like to try and find a good mobile/lights to soothe/distract her. At the moment I have to rock her to sleep and the second she wakes, she screams to be picked up so I'm hoping that by having something to distract her she'll be happier in there. Does anyone have any recommendations? Do they actually work?

We use Tiny Love Symphony mobile with my 7mth DS and have done from 9 weeks when he went in his own cot.

It can be a bit loud so you can put masking tape over the speaker bit to dull it. We put it in and played it during the day to get him used to it and then put it on every time he went down for a sleep after that. I think it works to soothe and comfort.
