Hypnotherapy for babies?

I've read nearly every book poss. I've tried gradual withdrawal , complete withdrawal with letting the baby cry it out, pick up put down, the list of methods continues....but my dd doesn't sleep. Does anyone know if babies can have hypnotherapy?

If anyone has any other suggestion that don't mean that the baby has to cry until they dehydrate and vomit, please let me know as we are at desperation point. Thanks

AFAIK you can't use it on babies (looked into it myself one sleepless night) - to do with the fact that their brains and wills and not developed enough yet, and unethical. I have not explained that very well.

How old is your baby?

She is 9 months and 12 days. She puts up such a fight physically, she flails and kicks and screams when trying to get her to sleep. The only comfort she gets/her way of calming down if I'm holding her is by scratching my face or pinching the back of my arms. As you can imagine that is extremely painful for me. She slept well in her cot for 6 weeks then the last three months have been impossible. If she goes in it she screams. She doesn't know how to self sooth and I've run out of ideas.

Oh scalise that does sound hard. I have no advice for you I'm afraid,(mine is younger than yours and not a great sleeper) but sure someone more knowledgable will be along. Good luck though.
