Just wondered how long your children have durring the day. DD is 10 months and she has an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon. She goes to bed at 7.30 and gets up at 7.30! Does this seem to much?

hayleylou
my ds naps for 30mins around 9am and then 1 1/2hr at 1pm and goes to bed at 7 / 7.30 and up anytime between 6-7am

it doesnt seem to much at all
but u might like to get her to take one big nap of 2hrs at noon if it suit s you

Nope! Not too much - each child is different.

DS is 13mo and slept for FOUR hours yesterday - slept through from 8.30-8am too That is unusual, but he'll usually do two to two and a half hours easily in the morning (only has one nap now).

Seems fine. Ds3 is 9 months and he sleeps from 7.30pm to 7.30am and then has a nap from about 11am to 1-2pm (sometimes I have to wake him to pick up my older ones from nursery but otherwise he sleeps till about 2pm). So about the same as yours but his daytime sleep is not split.

Hayleylou - My ds is nearly 4 and he sleeps that much!

Thanks for the replies, I only ask coz my dp thought she had to much, but I was quite happy with her sleeping pattern!!

I'd say this seems pretty good and not dissimilar to what my ds was doing at 10 months.

hayleylou sorry to jump in on your thread but my 11mth dd does 45mins - 1hr in the morning and 1-2 hrs in the afternoon. She goes to sleep by 7pm but has begun waking up between 5-6 am but is still very tired. Even if she sleeps less during the day it makes no difference to her early morning waking. I've blocked out the light in her room so can't be the sun waking her. Anyone got any ideas ?? Thanks

my ds the same, Mel - soooooo annoying. My dd did it too (she's 3 now). Did grow out of it by about 18 months-ish (if that's not too depressing a thought!)

Mel06 · 31/05/2005 10:33

Thanks Dinny. Yes I hope she does grow out of it. I am having to go to bed at 9.30pm just to get through the day.

knackering. ds feeds loads in night too. gggrrr. still, it's a phase, I hope.
