why wont hestay asleep!!

Ds2 is almost 2, and still doesnt sleep through. We have stopped his nap during the day and he falls asleep at 7pm. But at 12-1am he is awake for 1-2 hours and just screams. He is then awake at 6am. I am so tired, DH is tired and Ds2 is tired, so why doesnt he just stay asleep....

Dh is with him now, as I was getting stressed..

Have you tried the wake to sleep technique? It does take about a week to work but worth it in the end.

Myriad reasons. Molars, development, etc. TBH I would let him nap still. ESPECIALLY as you say he's tired. My DS woke about 4 times a night at 2, and as recently as Monday woke ten times in the night because he's teething his last four molars (has been for months now), but then Tuesday and Thursday nights he slept through for the first time ever. Wednesday he woke 5:30am then came in to cuddle and went back to sleep and this morning he woke just before 6am. It wasn't until he was past 2 that he slept deeply enough that we could transfer him without waking. It just took his body that long to be able to do it.

he drop his nap, he wont nap anymore. whats the wake to sleep?
