Did it not work then?

Sorry, it's just I'm tearing my hair out at the moment reading the book (which seems eminently sensible, and she sounds informed and lovely) getting my breastfed-to-sleep 9-1/2 month old to sleep.

Lol @ doris, I was thinking the same thing!

doris i read it as a work of fiction.

It didn't "work" as such for us, however I found it tremendously reassuring iykwim. She doesn't do all those scarey threats that certain others do...you know along the lines of if you give the dc a dummy/let them in your bed/cuddle them half the night they will never learn to sleep.

If was a gift from a friend, and I didn't really have a chance to read it properly. TBH I am quite lucky with DS3 sleeping, he has his moments but on the whole its OK!!

Just thought if anyone was thinking of buying it they may want to save themselves a couple of pounds!!
