Morning wind wakes baby

4month old wakes herself up with crying as she has wind. I guess this Is because falls asleep with her last drink of the day. She sounds so uncomfortable and upset, any tips anyone on winding without waking her?

Have you tried infacol or gripe water? My little one is now 4 months and I find it very hard to get a burp out of him now, so not sure I can suggest anything that will help you. He's had more problems with digestion generally, rather than wind specifically, so I've been giving him infacol for ages. I tried dropping it last week, but his daytime napping was really deteriorating, so I restarted and he's definitely doing better again now.

I also try to feed him so that he's very upright (i.e. not lying flat), which seems to help with his digestion too. Plus baby massage worked wonders as long as I did it every day.

HTH.

IME a session or two with a cranial osteopath did wonders for morning wind.

We had this problem but seem to have grown out of it now (6 months). Good luck!
