Hey all, I invested in a grobag for ds who is nearly 6mnths (trying in a vain attempt to get some sleep - fine the first night, last night not so good, ho hum!)
But I was wondering if it is warm enough - its a 2.5 tog one but last night his hands were cold and so was his face, the temp in the room read at 66 - should I put a celular blanket on him to?

hands/faces do get cold and I used grobags & similar bags for ages with dd1. best measure of warmness is back of neck - in my experience babies wake up if they're cold. if the grobag isn't keeping baby warm enough put extra bedtime clothes on eg socks on top of babygro, long sleeve vest, mitts etc.

thanks bundle - its just that they were sooooo cold, more than usual - Will try some extra layers of clothing, trouble with scratch mitts is he likes to suck his fingers - which sounds lovely at 2am! Bless

Should be okay in a 2.5 tog at this time of year. DD is in a lightweight 0.5 tog at moment, with a sleeveless vest as our apartment is so warm. Her hands and face are always cool to tough though in the night.

If needed though, rather than blankets I'd use extra night clothes instead.
