8 mo standing up stops her sleeping - any ideas?

DD is 8 mo and trying to learn to walk - all day she is desperate to pull herself up to standing. Problem is she does this at night in her cot too. She used to be able to self-settle but now whenever she comes out of deep sleep instead of snuffling and shuffling and turning over and getting herself back to sleep, she stands up. So obviously she can't get back to sleep and wakes herself up and starts crying and is incredibly hard to settle again..
Am getting fed up with it to tbh - any ideas on how to help her learn to self-settle again?

TBH flora I found I just had to live through it. DS came out the other side of this once he was up and at it in the day. Sorry!

The only thing I can think of is if you could teach her to sit herself down again during the day in the hope she may do this at night too? Bit of a pathetic idea, sorry!
