DC2 is due in two weeks so why is it DD1, who is 18 months, has spent the past two nights waking at midnight and crying on/off for 2-3 hours???!!! Is she trying to prepare us for life with a newborn again - if so, I can wait!

She's never been the greatest sleeper but certainly not the worst & since getting over a bout of illnesses earlier in the year she's been sleeping through 11 hours in the night, only a couple of occassions when she's woke & just had a bottle to settle her back down.

Just when we thought hey, its not gonna be so bad having another one now, she throws it back in our face I know its only been 2 nights & could just be teething or something but just needed to moan otherwise I'm gonna scream the house down (not good at 5.30am in the morning, think the neighbours might complain)

Rant over Sorry!

Rant away, my dd did a similar thing, only lasted a week or so. Good luck with Dc2

Thanks lula. Have calmed down now. All she needs to do is give me a cuddle & I forgive her for everything!
