Hello there, just joined in the vain hope that somewhere out there is someone who can work out how i m gonna get my 3 year old girl to sleep.
Ok, bit of background me and my partner did controlled crying when she was a few months old and for about 8 blissful months she slept from about 7 -6.
Around 18 months this changed and since then she is up at least once often more times every night.
She used to wake up and cry but now she wakes up and comes into our room, we put her back to bed but often she will be up an hour later then another hour.....
She is pretty clever I reckon and seems to understand when we say she needs to sleep all the was though but she just seems to wake easily and not be able to settle herself - we tried leaving her, we ve kept door closed, threatened naughty step, tried bribing, just don t know what to do anymore and its killing us
