At what age can I introduce a pillow? I have a 14 month old son and terrible sleeper.

why would a pillow help?

is he waking through:-

hunger
wet nappy
teething

Is he waking for BF/bottle?

Does he get cold at night perhaps?

we are not sure what the problem is- some of it is undoubtedly habit now as from about 3- 9 months he slept through fine; ever since teeth appeared, he has had disturbed sleep, and now wakes EVERY night at least twice; guaranteed at between 1030- 11pm- usually coughing (we are trying an inhaler from the gp without much benefit yet), then again about 1-2am- just wakes and is standing up crying in the cot... he takes an age to settle again at this point- fidgety and restless, and you have to stand by the cot till he is truely asleep or otherwise he stands up in an instant and cries again the moment you try and leave... it is killing us both as we are so tired
