Yes, I put the basket in the cot for a few nights first too

i should go for it then?

dd1 goes up to sleep in bed @ 6:30 - 7pm
dd2 goes up @ 8pm should i put her in moses in cot for a bit from 8pm or put her in there after 10:30pm feed.
will start putting moses into cot for day time sleeps

I had the same problem. MN gave good advice. I putthe Moses basket into cot for about a week or 2, then started putting my LO down in cot during day naps. I would also let dd play in the cot (without Moses b.) during daytime for 10mins so she got used to it and saw that it was a nice, comfy place.

I didn't put her into her own cot for the first time at night, simply coz I didn't want her to wake up and not know where she was and unable to settle herself again.

Leave Moses b. in cot for night time, too, so she gets used to the scenery from there.
