When do babies drop their morning nap?

I can't recall when DS1 dropped his little kip. DS2 has two sleeps a day - well, he used to. 9.30am and lunchtime longer sleep. He now only seems to do one and it can be either of them.

He is 14 months.

As soon as you find out that you're pregnant again, in my experience.

My DS is 12 months, and is toying with dropping that nap - some days goes through until 11.30-12 without needing one, but still needs it most days at around 9.30. I let him have half an hour then so he has his big nap at lunchtime.

Hmmm, yes I think I'm going to have to get him as I can hear him singing in his cot. He's clearly not going to sleep now so will have to sleep at lunchtime.

Mrs TittleMouse - god I hope I'm' not pregnant again. Two boys is enough!

DD stopped an early nap at about 10 months. She now has one a day at about 11 ish, but depends how early she got up.

DS dropped his morning nap around 11mo. It did make his lunchtime sleep more reliable, though.
