For 4 weeks now, my 15 week old has started slamming her legs down so hard in her cot she keeps us both awake! She grunts and cries all night long from around 11ish onwards. She goes to bed brilliantly at 7.30 and sleeps soundly until she starts grunting and slamming.... WHY??

My ds did that too around the same age. Don't know why they do it, but it's not uncommon.

My DS who's 18 weeks has also been doing this for a few weeks. I have no idea why and it keeps him and us awake constantly. From 6am ish I bring him into our bed and he closes his eyes but wriggles and pushes his legs for approx 45 mins until he falls asleep. How wierd !!!

Great! At least I'm not on my own, then. Does anyone know what it's a sign of? Can it be stopped or do they just grow out of it?
