When did your dc drop their daytime nap?

Dd is becoming increasingly difficult to get to sleep during the day, but is only 22mo. I'm thinking it's still a little early to drop the nap, but as she doesn't go to sleep until around 8.30pm (aargh), maybe it's time?

dd dropped nap at 3year old, but still had the occasional nap with me as I am heavily pregnant and could do with a nap myself, so we get into bed together

That said, dd always went 7-7 even with a nap so maybe not the best guide for you.

7-7, it's just a pipe dream for me.

DS dropped nap at 28 months and was always really difficult to get to sleep in day but now at 3 1/2 yrs he's started napping again. Not by choice I hasten to add but when I get him up to his bed he's asleep with 10 mins and sleeps for 1 hour. So I don't think its a final thing, you know once you drop the nap you can't go back...kinda depends on what they are doing and how active they are and whether they are having a growth spurt....

DS is 27 months and I'm desperately trying to get him to keep his nap. I'm fighting a losing battle...sigh.
