I am FINALLY having some success with regard to my 8mo and sleep - we have a long way to go, but I'm feeling human again and, as many of you on this thread know, that's a massive step forward.
Therefore, I am hesitant to mess with the way my DS is sleeping and napping at the moment, but I am also trying to think ahead.
Currently, DS seems to be napping for an hour and a half (sometimes a bit more) in the morning - approx 9.30-11 - and about 45 mins to an hour in the afternoon - approx 2-3. It's taken me a long time to get him to nap longer than 30 mins and I was trying to encourage this in the afternoon, but I also never wanted to wake him and he has developed this schedule kind of by himself!!
I've read that taking his long nap in the morning will make it harder for him to graduate to one good lunchtime nap - is this true, and if so, what should I do about it?
