Bedgurd for cotbed?

Does anyone know what sort of bed guard you can fit on a cotbed once i take the cot sides off?
We bought a Sure and Secure one but as we were trying to fit it we found out it wasnt suitable for cotbeds, only for twin, double and queen beds. So we are back to square one now!
His cot is not against a wall either so we are looking for a double one really.
A lot of people say don't bother with guards and to just put a few blankets down, but I'm sure he'd spend all night sleeping on the floor and end up cold in a corner somewhere.
Any ideas would be welcome as I don't know what to do now!

The tomy one and the mothercare one does. I just pushed one side against the wall and an ottoman against the other side. Have you got anything similar you could use? Perhaps a chair or beanbag or something?

We have just got the grobag first duvet cover from Argos. The duvet zips onto the bottom sheet and seems to be doing the job of both keeping ds from rolling out of cot bed and of chucking his covers off.

If you are a bit handy with a sewing machine you could probably do yourself - I'm not so bought it!

The mothercare pine fold down one is suitable for cot beds.

They do a cheaper fixed one which is also suitable for cot beds but only Mothercare ones.

Toys R Us do a Bruin one which has a clicking mechanism. Looking at the dimensions it isn't suitable for a cotbed but theres only a few cm in it so it might still fit. You'd have to try it but they told me if they don't fit you can return them for a refund.
