We have a Jane Aurora chair which has levers either side so it can lie flat or recline the back - it's quite a substantial chair.

DD seems to settle well in it- she's had a cold and would wake up snorting and getting herself in a right state.

We decided to use the chair for her sleeping and have put it in her cot with a very slight recline. She has the last couple of nights stretched her sleeping more through the night - we've had to wake her to feed her at 10.30pm and then she's slept til 2.30/45 rather than the previous 12.45/1.30ish and then on til 6amish. It might be that it's fluke but I wonder if the chair feels cosier than her cot (don't have a moses basket).

Is it an issue for her posture being in there? The bit she's "lying" on IYSWIM is flat against her back. She's also swaddled. Also what about SIDS? I can't see it being much different from a moses basket?

I suppose I've just got myself in a pickle about whether it's ok or not?!

Thanks
