Sleeping on the move in prams - mumpreneur needs testers

Hi there fellow mums

I am launching a new product in the next month called the Snoozeshade (TM). It's a simple idea which I came up with when struggling to keep my baby asleep in her stroller. I will be selling it online (website is in production at the moment) and via selected retailers.

It is in the early stages of production and I could really do with some independent testers (all my mum friends think it's a great idea and are a bit biased so I need people with no bias and to be honest).

I need a few (as I will only have a small number of samples at this stage) tester mums who regularly end up hanging blankets/muslins/coats/cardigans etc over the pram to give your baby the chance to sleep while you are out and about.

The snoozeshade is a lightweight stretchy shade that comes in its own small bag to hang on your buggy or pop in your handbag that you attach over the canopy/hood of your pram and on the stroller frame (with poppers).

If you're interested can you let me know. I'm expecting samples to arrive to me in the next 2-3 weeks and then I'd like to post them to you for trial and will then ask you to jot me a line with pros and cons of the product.

Thanks very much for reading this.

Meercat I sometimes use my black pashmina to do just that so I would be happy to trial your product. Do you have an e-mail address I can contact you on>

Oooooh that sounds brill. I'm sick of using pegs to keep my muslin in place - doesn't look great on my very smart Quinny!

Just let me know how to get involved and I'll get my friends to have a go of it as well and let you know what we think.

funnypeculiar · 22/02/2009 18:51

I thought of this idea when my los were little - but never got further than the vague 'bet that'd sell stage'
Good luck with it - mine are too old now to be a tester for you, I'm afraid

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 22/02/2009 18:51

Yup, sounds like a great idea, if you need a volunteer, just let me now how to get in touch!

2pt4kids · 22/02/2009 18:52

I'd be happy to give it a go.
I fairly often put DS2 to sleep in the pram and usually pull the hood down as far as it will go and either hang my jacket over it or face it to the wall and rock him till asleep so he cant see anything to distract him!!
I'm on cat if you want t contact me.

you can contact me by the email icon on my message - I have set it up to receive messages I will then give you my private email address - don't want to put it up in public ;-)
Thanks for volunteering - it'll be very helpful and to get independent opinions on it

I hate my Los sleeping in their pram. It's a wasted opportunity to get stuff around the house done.
